In 2006, Frédérick Bernard, from Canada and Ludovic Ortuno, from Europe, two FDI specialists, founded CIDEP to help EDOs, IPAs to fast track their FDI attraction efforts and assist corporations entering new markets

Kick-off
CIDEP established business relations with more than 15 clients around Europe including major economic development agencies in France such as ADIELOR (Lorraine Foreign Investment Development Agency).

2008
USA States entrusting CIDEP for in-Market Representation
CIDEP entered the American market and signed a contract of representation in Canada with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.. CIDEP was selected by the Arizona Department of Commerce as the official state representative in Canada for its trade and investment activities.

2010
a global recognition
After intensifying our client base in Europe, CIDEP became the official representative in Canada for Enterprise Florida, the Economic Development Agency for the State of Florida. CIDEP also expanded its trade and export services for corporate clients, helping them increase their market access in North America and generated more than 5.2 M$ in direct sales.

A steady growth
CIDEP enters into a strategic partnership with PUBLIKA, a Digital Marketing and Web Communication agency; CIDEP and PUBLIKA combine their expertise to offer best in class Digital Marketing services to EDO’s & North American companies.
More US States, such as Missouri, Colorado and Delaware are using CIDEP as their local offices in Canada for Trade Services.
After opening its office in San Francisco CIDEP is now well equipped to assist its clients in the Western US Market.
